Sarah Hill is the CEO and Founder of Perfect Strangers, a fast growing roommate matching company servicing New York City. Stricken with the entrepreneurial bug at an early age, Sarah began her career in high school, where she worked for a residential real estate developer.
She continued her studies and attended UMass Amherst, majoring in Real Estate and
Entrepreneurship. After graduating a semester early, Sarah quickly received a job offer working for property management company. Anxious to begin putting her education and experience to use, she accepted with a start date days later. Having to move in a weekend, Sarah realized there were no reliable services or information available for NYC transplant looking to rent a single room, find an ideal roommate and do it all on an affordable budget.
Sarah founded Perfect Strangers of NYC in 2012 to serve that very market. Sarah and her team helps individuals find their ideal roommate, in an apartment they can afford and in a neighborhood that best suits them.
As an alternative to traditional real estate brokers or unverified listing sites, PSofNYC provides a thoroughly vetted, personalized experience based on each clients’ needs. To date, PSofNYC has helped over 650 people while remaining one of the highest rated real estate companies on Yelp. Sarah has been featured in many publications such as Inc., Time Out New York, Medium, As a New Yorker, Buzzbuzz Home News and regularly speaks at colleges presenting “Moving to NYC 101” seminars.
