Allison Muller
This week Ivy Slater, host of Her Success Story, interviews her guest, Dr. Allison Muller from Acri Muller Consulting, LLC, outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Muller is a board-certified toxicologist and registered pharmacist with over 20 years’ experience in the field of clinical toxicology. She started her consulting business in January 2014.
The majority of her 20-plus year career in toxicology was with The Poison Control Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she was consulted on the care of poisoned patients within 21 counties in Pennsylvania and all of Delaware.
Dr. Muller is presently an independent consultant with experience as an expert witness in cases involving alcohol, drugs of abuse, carbon monoxide, medication errors, and postmortem toxicology. She sees her role of an expert witness as that of a teacher. To that end, she is also on faculty at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine where she teaches toxicology to second-year veterinary medicine students. In addition to her expert witness work, Dr. Muller educates physicians, pharmacists, and nurses through her work as a medical writer.
